As a member of our teaching faculty, you play a key role in upholding our program’s rigor and integrity. We are committed to equipping every graduate with the skills they need to practice in a diverse range of settings within an ever-changing environment. Therefore, it is crucial that we implement a curriculum that challenges students to learn the theoretical knowledge for practice while enhancing their critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.

This site offers a brief orientation to the program and available support, especially for new faculty members and inactive adjuncts currently without new/renewed VCU system access.
After you receive your VCU system login information, a more robust orientation will be available to you through Canvas.
Here you can find resources such as course materials, a program administration directory, and key School of Social Work and VCU policies.
The orientation site is new for Fall 2025 and still in development, so please excuse our dust! It will be updated each semester.
